Operations Assistant Job Description

The Operations Assistant within our G3 Boise Regional Brokerage Division will support the day-to-day operations of the Account Managers in the G3 Division. The individual is responsible for ensuring that all processes and procedures are followed and completed on behalf of each customer who works with Giltner Logistics. The successful candidate will have great energy and focus, a passion for logistics, a desire to learn and improve, and a commitment to the success of the company. Operations Assistant Responsibilities

• Assistant to Account Manager team for Client and Carrier facing duties including but not limited to: Track and trace updates, Appointment Scheduling/ Management, Shipment Creation/ Management, Shipment Billing procedures
• Maintain compliance of all SOPs and Best Practices to ensure the success of the group and our Partners
• Achieve and exceed individual and team goals
• Complete expected tasks in an efficient and timely manner

Operations Assistant Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask
• Ability to manage large amounts of information
• Ability to communicate effectively in a high stakes situation
