The Field Sales Representative's role is to develop and support technical solutions for off highway mobile systems and Industrial Markets. The individual is passionate about working with customers on all of their fluid power applications and electrical control of their fluid power applications.
Job Duties
The individual will report to the field sales manager. They will also work closely with the support team within Berendsen and our vendors. They must be a self-starter with a passion to find solutions for their customers.

Berendsen Fluid Power is a fluid power distributor providing Value Added services in the field of Power and Motion Control to the Mobile/Off Highway and Industrial Markets. We are one of North America's largest fluid power integrators with 42 locations in the United States and Canada. We are fully integrated with supply, design and engineering services and repair and warranty services. We have a current need for a field sales rep to cover the Southern Idaho area From west to East not including the Northern panhandle.

Job Duties
- Maintain existing customer base
- Grow customer base by identifying new customers and markets
- Develop hydraulic and electrical solutions for customer systems
- Maintain high competency of our product
- Maintain high competency of how the customers product functions
- 15% overnight travel
- Maintain communication with Berendsen support team
- Project management and time management
- System start up and troubleshooting
- Provide hydraulic and electrical schematics with the aid of Berendsen engineering
- Build strong customer relationships
- Maintain customer reports monthly
- Provide pricing on the systems developed within Berendsen guidelines
- Work from and maintain a home office
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Associates Degree in Fluid Power
- Associates Degree in technical discipline with 5 plus years of mechanical or electrical experience
- 10 plus years of experience in technical field
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Entrepreneurial spirit and results driven
- Plus 1 Guide experience
- Fluid power experience, CFPHS
- Electrical controls experience
- AutoCad LT, CAD Software, Schematic design software
- Microsoft Office
