Project Overview:

Bechtel's Manufacturing and Technology (M&T) is an exciting and growing business unit that serves customers in the semiconductor, electric vehicle, and datacenter markets. Job Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for material management activities for a project or jobsite. You will ensure conformance to corporate policies including the receipt, inspection, storage, inventory control, physical security, and issue of materials and equipment. You will monitor employee utilization, work hours, and staffing. Your efforts will help ensure accurate, efficient, and timely material management.

Major Responsibilities:

Responsible for material management activities for project temporary operating and jobsite locations on a small sized project
Identifies the need and completing the action for all UOS&D material and equipment received at project temporary operating and jobsite locations
Initiates actions to identify and dispose of material and equipment declared excess to project needs by project management
Prepares recommendations for facilities and equipment necessary to provide for professional material management operations at project temporary and jobsite locations, as specifically directed by the Project Field Procurement Manager - this activity begins as early as practical in the planning stages and continues throughout the project

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of vendor materials, tools, consumables and safety material commonly utilized during construction.
Experience in receiving documentation paperwork requirements.
Strong automation skills, ability to learn new applications quickly
Working knowledge of material storage and handling of equipment.
Knowledge and understanding of field purchasing functions.
Experience in rental agreements and administration.
Proficient in organizing tasks for completion by an agreed deadline.
Good oral and written communication.
Must be willing to relocate within North America
