This individual is responsible for validating and curating data, performing analytical assessments, and delivering business insights that support the broader data management and reporting goals for the State of Idahos Medicaid enterprise. This position requires a strong technical foundation in data systems and integration, coupled with a collaborative mindset to support both business and technical teams across the SI Hub and MMIS environments.Responsibilities:Curate, validate, and analyze data across SI Hub repositories and I-MIDAS environments to ensure data integrity and accessibility for reporting and analyticsProvide business insight and support the definition of strategic data management goals within the Medicaid program contextCollaborate with Solution and Data Architects, Developers, and IDHW stakeholders to ensure data structures and flows support programmatic needs and enterprise-wide analyticsDevelop and execute complex SQL queries, data transformations, and ETL processes using enterprise-grade tools and middlewareApply best practices in data governance, metadata management, and master data management (MDM) to support secure, accurate, and standardized data useServe as a data steward to ensure compliance with state and federal data policies and support continuous quality improvementQualifications:Minimum of four (4) years of experience in systems integration, data analysis, or a related fieldAt least two (2) years of experience working with large-scale automated systems (e.g., MMIS, fiscal agent platforms, or similar)Strong proficiency in database management, SQL and query generation, ETL tools, middleware solutions, and relevant programming languagesSolid understanding of data quality management, validation techniques, and performance optimizationPreferred:Experience within MMIS or Medicaid environments is highly preferredCertifications in data analytics, data management, or healthcare IT domainsFamiliarity with healthcare data standards, including those used in Medicaid reporting and analyticsWorking knowledge of data governance frameworks, MDM principles, and communication skills for cross-functional collaborationS2Tech is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
