GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Recruiter is responsible for talent acquisition and placement of staff across assigned areas of Terry Reilly lines of business. This role works in collaboration with leaders across the organization in assisting with all planning and execution of recruiting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  1. Develops and administers recruitment strategies to meet workforce needs, including sourcing, outreach, and process optimization.
  2. Works with managers, supervisors and Human Resource leadership to identify workforce needs and opportunities, including skill sets, training requirements/needs and career ladders.
  3. Manages the applicant tracking system to document recruitment and screening activities in compliance with employment laws and Terry Reilly policies.
  4. Conducts pre-screening interviews, participates in interviews with managers, , and other pre-employment screening activities as appropriate for each position.
  5. Works closely with the hiring managers and the HR team to onboard new employees; ensuring that all pre-employment requirements of candidates are met prior to time of hire.
  6. Responsibility for maintaining job announcement documentation.
  7. Assists HR and leadership in maintaining organized, accurate, and non-duplicated job descriptions. Updates files on the Intranet and in personnel records.
  8. Works with colleagues and supervisors to identify training needs and develop educational materials on hiring practices that support effective recruitment and employee success.
  9. Represents Terry Reilly at job fairs, recruiting events, and conferences to enhance organizational visibility and attract qualified candidates.
  10. Provides general HR assistance to employees, managers and external customers. Assists HR leadership in preparing policy revisions, or project implementation as appropriate.
  11. In collaboration with appropriate stakeholders, administers Terry Reilly's Student/Volunteer program and maintains organization wide dashboard of student/volunteer program activities.
  12. Coordinates communication between individual corporate departments, affiliated schools and Terry Reilly leadership to manage affiliation agreements, ensure appropriate utilization of preceptors, manage corporate liability and streamline processes.
  13. Works with leaders to plan and facilitate department specific goals for student and volunteer workforce. Collaborates with internal/external stakeholders to plan rotations/residency placements, tracks progress, follows up as needed.
  14. Coordinates with HR leadership to develop and deliver mandatory student/volunteer/resident trainings on compliance related topics identified in the Training and Development Policy. Tracks employee/student/volunteer participation in specified training in the current technologies as necessary. Assists with report and documentation for both internal tracking and presentation to divisions as needed.

Provides back up support for other members of the Human Resources Team as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Associate's degree or two-years Human Resources recruiting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of degree.
  2. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  3. Excellent written communication skills.
  4. A self-starter able to work with minimal supervision.
  5. Excellent computer skills, with experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
  6. Professional in appearance and manner.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Three years' HR experience with focus in recruitment.
  2. Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or related field.
  3. Experience using Microsoft Suite.
