This position will have a start date of June 9, 2025.
The Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) currently has an opening for a Business Analyst (BA) position in the Chinden office in Boise.
The Business Analyst will evaluate agency business requirements to assist in project prioritization, agency strategic alignment and project requirements development in order to ensure maximum value to the state for all project investments. This position will work directly with project management to deliver customer products. Technical knowledge of best practice software solutions and products is required.
The selected individual must have the ability to ensure alignment between agency business needs and business system design and functionality in a variety of computer systems across a wide range of Idaho State agencies. This position will facilitate new and enhanced business system functionality, improve, and refine existing business processes, develop business requirements, and communicate project and business goals between product owners and teams at ITS involved with the implementation.
Please note: The successful candidate will be required to pass a comprehensive fingerprint-based background check specific to the agencies ITS supports.
