Growing Manufacturer in Butte, MT has a need for a Director of Manufacturing. This is a full-time, direct hire role with full benefits and relocation assistance.

The position's primary responsibility is to maintain production schedules aligned with management and client requirements. The role includes managing activities such as man loading, working within budget constraints, and ensuring order and cohesion as workload varies, especially with new project integration. Strong multi-program/project management skills are essential. We seek an individual with excellent communication, team-building, planning, supervisory, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven success in high-technology product manufacturing
• Experience as an innovative technical manager in a small industrial equipment manufacturing environment
• Successful implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
• Strong customer listening skills and solution development capabilities
• The ability to integrate emerging technologies into organizational processes
• Quick grasp of new technological concepts and efficient implementation into operations

Responsibilities include:

• Leading manufacturing strategy, planning, and operations across departments such as Production, Quality, Engineering, EH&S, Logistics, and Supply Chain
• Developing safety, compliance, quality, and cost control programs
• Adopting technologies and methods to maximize efficiency
• Forecasting resources for facilities, equipment, materials, and workforce
• Fostering organizational culture to achieve company goals
• Designing and maintaining an effective organizational structure
• Leading change management and promoting employee development
• Implementing cross-training and skills development programs

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering (ABET accredited)
• 8+ years of manufacturing and warehouse supervisory/management experience
• Proficiency in MRP, ERP, inventory management, MS Office, PowerPoint
• U.S. Citizenship
