You'll also train staff on electrical safety and help maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment. This position works a consistent schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week, giving you a three-day weekend every week. Required Knowledge, Experience, And Training + High school diploma or equivalent + 4 years of experience performing general electrical installations, maintenance and repairs in a commercial or public facility + or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Licensing And Other Requirements + Journey-level Electrician license issued by the State of Idaho. + Valid state-issued driver's license. + Ability to obtain an Airport Certified Employee (ACE) certification for airfield lighting within six months of hire date. + First Aid and CPR Certifications. Applicants must be able to pass: + City of Boise background check processes which includes a criminal history check and reference checks in accordance with the City of Boise Hiring Process Regulation + Driving Record Check + Transportation Security Administration background check (SIDA) Essential Functions Performs highly complex and specialized tasks requiring considerable judgement, and independent analysis and decision making. Provides leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
