We are seeking a Payment Processor II to join our Loan Servicing Department. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, performing accounting tasks, loan administration, and supporting various departments as needed. If you have experience in residential real estate lending, loan processing, loan servicing, and possess strong organizational and customer relations skills, we encourage you to apply.

In this role, you will:

Customer Service

  • Respond to customer inquiries
  • Work to satisfy customer needs and maintain good customer relations
  • Provide counseling as necessary

Accounting
  • Meet the Association goal on delinquency and foreclosures by:
  • Processing all incoming payment/payoff funds daily
  • Efficient in reviewing payment history

Loan Administration
  • Posting of payoffs
  • Completion of requested adjustments
  • Posting payments by physical item or electronic download
  • Review and submission of reimbursement requests to lenders/borrower.

Reliability & Engagement
  • Maintains good attendance and punctuality. Is responsible for adhering to work schedules and ensuring that supervisor is apprised of any schedule changes due to unforeseen appointments or schedule conflicts.

Cross Train
  • Cross-train for other departmental duties
  • Willingness to work any duties needed outside of assigned responsibilities.

Personal Development
  • Participate in training and other educational classes that will benefit the Association and the individual as it relates to the job
  • Incumbent is a team player and works towards Association goals


Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience in residential real estate lending, residential loan processing, loan closing, and/or loan servicing preferred.
  • Experience in basic accounting preferred.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and perform job responsibilities independently.
  • Ability to maintain excellent customer relations at all time.
  • This position will be performed in office.
