Job Summary
A Product Designer 3 plays a central role in shaping BSWH strategic initiatives through a customer's lens — directly responsible for driving the quality, creativity, and delivery of human-centered digital products for our patients and their families. We are building a versatile team of designers with complementary strengths in either UI or UX capacities. In this role, the Product Designer 3 will collaborate cross-functionally with research, service design, content design, engineering, analytics, product managers, and CX leadership, helping to solve digital pain points, empower our users, influence stakeholders with clear rationale and strong visual and verbal storytelling, gather and integrate feedback, and create energy and alignment through strategic visions and creative product design innovation.

Advance BSWH customer-centric digital experiences with a high volume innovative and successful solutions. Inspire and motivate other designers to do the same. Demonstrate artistry and excellence in the communication of strategic new ideas, and distill complex ideas so that others can quickly comprehend them. Create design cohesion across the ecosystem.
Leadership and Relationships:
Coach and mentor other designers and team members, providing direct feedback, critique, and strategically directing work to push the experience to the next level. Serve as a key advisor across product teams, building alliances and helping teams work through differences to deliver with excellence.
Process:
Influence and inspire teams and leaders on product design strategies, design process, and opportunities. Create and direct design quality processes, pattern libraries, frameworks, and other tools that support quality and consistency across multiple projects and teams. Invite and conduct design critiques and reviews.
Daily responsibilities:
Expertise in building, using, and/or maintaining components and libraries in Figma
Coaching and support other designers and team members to push experiences to the next level
Promote inclusive design standards and guidelines for desktop, web, and mobile
Working with and contributing to established brand guidelines, style guides, and/or code-based design systems
Peer reviewing in-progress designs and offering constructive criticism and feedback
Ensuring UI/UX consistency and compliance with brand standards across experiences
Researching usability best practices and conducting heuristic evaluations
Defining global standards and creating detailed documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
UI/Visual Design Skills
Very strong attention to detail and a keen eye for consistency, composition, spacing, and balance
Assessing designs in Figma for accurate use of design system components, patterns, and guidelines
Building clean, modern user interfaces that compete with best-in-class experiences across industries
Maintaining an organized and scalable file structure with notes and references as needed
Refining designs and preparing assets for handoff
Working closely with developers to test features and provide detailed feedback in UX/UI reviews
Working with leadership and stakeholders to provide visual design assistance and print materials for internal distribution
Creating or formatting engaging presentations and visualizing data
UX Strategy Skills
Build interactive prototypes, wireframes, and designs of varying fidelity to test ideas and communicate them internally and externally
Inspire trust and confidence in design recommendations by establishing clear rationale, customer insights, root cause analysis, and feedback
Iterate quickly and explore multiple solutions for a given problem.
Evaluating interfaces for user accessibility and adherence to WCAG/user accessibility guidelines
Auditing existing products to identify areas for improvement
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
