Job Summary: The Account Manager position is about relationship management and solution consulting for existing clients working with ClickBank. The Account Manager will own a portfolio of clients whose revenue through ClickBank will amount to tens of millions of dollars annually, with the intention of growing each account consistently over time through a process of utilizing ClickBank's tools and services. This position is responsible for guiding the strategy of growing company revenue and profit & executing against that strategy to achieve growth in that portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsiveness to client needs is of utmost importance. The Account Manager is both a business partner and an advocate for the client.
  • Responsible for building, maintaining and growing relationships with client portfolio.
  • Identify mutual growth opportunities and manage those opportunities to fruition.
  • Leverage client relationships, industry knowledge, and product suite to grow the portfolio's revenue on the ClickBank platform.
  • Working with clients directly, suggest new product features and functionality to the product development team. In turn, this helps prioritize product priorities and guide the product roadmap.
  • Identify unused, or underused, ClickBank tools and services to enhance and grow client's sales.
  • Responsible for representing ClickBank to clients at field events such as trade shows, conferences, ClickBank hosted events, etc. while also fostering partnership opportunities between clients.
  • Actively use SalesForce to record activities and carry opportunities through the pipeline process.
  • Conduct annual Business Reviews and quarterly performance sessions with each client in your portfolio.
  • Analyze sales trends and performance data to make recommendations on how clients can optimize and grow their businesses.


To be successful in this position you will need to have a strong understanding of:
1. Direct Response / Affiliate Marketing – Understand the direct response and affiliate marketing industry and specifically the clients' business needs. The clients are the best of the best; this position will make them better by providing ideas, solutions, & introductions to them.
2. Internal Sales – Every good salesperson needs to not only sell externally but internally. In order for a great company to evolve with its clients, the company needs its employees to bring the knowledge of the market and their clients back into the company. This position will need to understand who is who within the organization, and sell ideas and experience gained from the field to the support personnel and leadership.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in business, or field relevant to the Key Responsibilities preferred.
  • 2+ years relevant account management or sales experience.
  • Strong organization skills and technical problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated confidence as a salesperson; unafraid to pick up the phone and engage with clients and leads.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, both internally and externally.
  • Possess a desire to achieve defined professional goals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel including the ability to use VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and advanced sorting/filtering to analyze and manipulate data efficiently.
  • Direct response marketing and/or affiliate marketing experience and knowledge preferred.
