ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT PRN
Boise Regional Medical Center, Pathology Department
SUMMARY:
Performs a variety of duties to support administration of the assigned department.
HOURS: This is a PRN position that will likely provide about 15 hours a week of opportunity. The hours would be 8-4:30 p.m.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years of relevant experience required, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: - Receives and screens visitors and telephone calls and handles general inquiries.
- Schedules / coordinates meetings, conferences, special events, appointments and travel arrangements. Maintains assigned calendar(s).
- Establishes and maintains filing systems. Orders and stocks supplies.
- Assists with special projects and interdepartmental needs when appropriate. Experience with process improvement or lean philosophy preferred.
- Must be able to work equally well independently and in a team environment.
