BASIC PURPOSE: Process soiled linen and distribute clean linen in accordance with standard operating procedures in a safe, accident-free manner, as assigned by management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Receive and sort soiled linen into appropriate containers.
2. Process sorted linen utilizing the washers and dryers ensuring finished product is inspected and meets quality standards.
3. Maintain the assigned work area in clean and safe condition
4. Notify supervisor of malfunctioning equipment, supplies needed, damaged linens, to ensure laundry operation is running at maximum efficiency level.

Requirements

Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience: Prior laundry experiences desirable but not necessary
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude are essential.
• Ability to speak and understand English
• Willingness to learn the operating industrial laundry equipment
• Lifting/Pushing/Pulling: 50lbs
• Bending/Kneeling: Bending - Frequent bending while loading/unloading washers/dryers, sorting linen and folding
• Mobility: Continuous movement throughout department and hotel
• Continuous Standing 100% of shift
• Emphasis on cleanliness standards and quality control
• Perform other duties and tasks assigned

Wage: $16 hour DOE

Schedule: Part Time. Open availability w/ potential to work weekends and some holidays.
