Oversee the daily execution of PO movement from suppliers to export/import hubs, sub-hubs, and final vessel delivery.
Coordinate inbound, outbound, and inter-hub flows, ensuring consolidation and shipment accuracy.
Track milestones across transport legs (road, sea, air, courier) using CargoWise and integrated systems.
Ensure compliance with shipment planning, including load plans, commercial invoice handling, customs requirements, and DG/OOG procedures.
Act as the 4PL representative and central point of contact in the region.
Monitor OS&D (Overages, Shortages, and Damages), resolve non-conformities in coordination with hubs and buyers.
Escalate and resolve disruptions in coordination with global and regional teams.
Manage internal SLA adherence across functions (warehouse, customs, transport, port agents).
Ensure timely good receipts and proof of delivery submissions to close POs.
Collaborate closely with:
Global Control Tower (FinOps, SOP owners)
Maersk Team (Mumbai)
Category Buyers
Port Agents and Port Authorities
Internal Maersk verticals (Air, Ocean, Customs)
Communicate regularly with suppliers to align timelines and ensure readiness.
Own the ETA monitoring process and anticipate supply chain risks.
Lead last-mile planning with port agents to secure delivery slots to vessels.
Ensure emergency shipments (e.g., critical spares) are actioned rapidly and in compliance with escalation protocols.
Reduce dwell time and avoid missed deliveries, especially for bonded or DG cargo.
Track KPIs including:
On-time delivery
Dwell time reduction
Customs clearance time
Hub throughput
Provide reports and dashboards via CargoWise or relevant systems.
Support Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Business Reviews with data and insights.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5–8 years in a supply chain or control tower role, preferably in marine/offshore logistics or 4PL environments.
Strong understanding of bonded logistics, DG handling, and customs documentation.
Expertise in multimodal logistics (air, ocean, road, courier).
Experience with warehouse systems (WMS) and freight platforms (e.g., CargoWise, Mariapps).
High attention to detail, structured communicator, and collaborative mindset.
Ability to manage time-sensitive and complex operations under pressure.
Proficient in English; additional regional languages are an advantage.
Familiarity with Maersk ecosystem, systems, and terminology (e.g., Gemini Network, GLSM).
Knowledge of SAP, ShipServ, or ERP integrations.
Experience working in or managing logistics from Asia-Pacific locations (Shanghai, Singapore, Busan).
