Payroll Specialist – Construction Industry
Location: Onsite | Boise, ID
Compensation: $80,000/year + Benefits

CV Resources is partnering with a well-established construction company in Boise, ID to hire a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and brings deep experience in construction payroll, including Davis-Bacon and prevailing wage reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process multi-state payroll for approximately 300+ employees, in-house (not using third-party processors such as Paycor, Paycom, or ADP)

• Manage weekly construction payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with labor laws and company policy

• Prepare and submit Davis-Bacon and prevailing wage reports in accordance with federal and state guidelines

• Reconcile payroll records and respond to internal payroll inquiries

• Collaborate with HR and Accounting to ensure accurate employee records and benefits data

• Maintain confidential payroll files and documentation in compliance with internal policies and external regulations

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of construction payroll experience required

• Proven experience processing multi-state payroll for 300+ employees

• Strong working knowledge of Davis-Bacon and prevailing wage reporting (minimum 10 years)

• Preferred experience using Viewpoint Spectrum or similar ERP/payroll systems

• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
