Maintain, monitor, and review daily operations and facilities to ensure employee safety and compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations for specified facilities, operations, and projects.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver SHE training and SHE induction sessions to enhance safety awareness among Head Office employees, significantly improving safety awareness.
Conduct inspections of statutory, fire, and rescue equipment to ensure completeness and readiness for use.
Inspect project facilities and equipment, observe ongoing operations and activities to ensure compliance with company safety regulations.
Support and assist in safety audits, inspections, and accident/incident investigations by observing employee activities and workplace conditions, and submit recommendations to management to address deficiencies, eliminate hazards, and improve the overall safety program.
Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibilities, including SHE Management System, to ensure effectiveness and compliance with standards such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SMK3, and SMKP. Ensure SHE risks are well managed, target zero LTI is pursued, and SHE responsibilities meet intended outcomes.
Education
Diploma Degree in any major.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in SHE field implementation in high-risk industries.
Hold AK3 certification from the government (POP certification is preferred).
Knowledge of mining safety, marine safety, and/or plant safety is preferred.
Ability to conduct presentations.
Willing to work extended hours to meet objectives.
Good communication skills and innovative mindset.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written, is an advantage.
