Integro Asset Management is a management company specializing in skilled nursing, assisted living, and memory care in senior living communities across various states in the US. Our goal is to provide a serene setting and compassionate care to our residents, dedicated to Enhancing Quality of Life.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Director to serve as an integral part of the multidisciplinary team overseeing all maintenance-related activities across healthcare settings. This is a remote position requiring frequent travel.

The Director of Construction will be responsible for managing, controlling, coordinating, and executing construction and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a sense of urgency, strong work ethic, high energy, integrity, and the ability to complete tasks efficiently, ethically, and on time.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage new construction and remodeling projects
  2. Oversee multiple construction projects simultaneously
  3. Collaborate effectively with functional teams and community leadership
  4. Manage all aspects of projects, including:
  • Ensuring adherence to scope and plans
  • Maintaining schedules and meeting deadlines
  • Monitoring progress and costs
  • Reviewing and approving change orders
  • Obtaining insurance certificates and lien releases
  • Provide timely and accurate updates to leadership regarding project status, budget, and schedule
  • Represent the company to external stakeholders, including architects, engineers, constructors, and regulatory agencies, fostering excellent vendor relations based on fairness, prompt payment, and enjoyable working relationships
  • Engage with code officials, inspectors, and bank examiners in meetings
  • Coordinate work to ensure construction aligns with industry standards, project scope, and schedule, including quality assurance and documentation of inspections
  • Regularly meet with onsite representatives to discuss project status, proactively resolve issues, and keep project managers informed
  • Manage changes in project scope and the punch list to ensure timely completion
  • Maintain positive interactions with internal teams such as accounting, HR, and ICS
  • Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry
    • Ability to work independently and in team environments
    • Extensive knowledge of building construction, materials, and methods
    • Strong leadership, organizational, and negotiation skills
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly to diverse audiences
    • Self-motivated with leadership qualities and responsibility-taking ability
    • Proficient in reading construction documents and understanding design, permit, and bidding processes
    • This position is based in the Great Lakes region and requires extensive regional travel
