Our Boise facility is seeking a dependable and experienced Boiler & Refrigeration Technician to support our Utilities Department. This position is critical to keeping our facility operating safely and efficiently.

Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Operate, maintain, and repair high-pressure boiler systems and associated support equipment
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on ammonia refrigeration systems (NH3)
Monitor and maintain compressed air systems, including dryers and compressors
Operate and service plant water treatment systems, including softeners and RO units
Support the operation and compliance of the facility's wastewater treatment system
Log equipment readings, monitor trends, and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions
Maintain safety and environmental compliance in all areas of responsibility
Requirements:
Proven experience with industrial boilers and ammonia refrigeration systems
Familiarity with air compressor systems, water treatment, and wastewater operations
RETA certification or strong working knowledge of ammonia-based refrigeration
Ability to read P&IDs, schematics, and perform system troubleshooting
Solid understanding of safety procedures, LOTO, and confined space requirements
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and respond to emergency maintenance calls
