Description:

Our client, a leading commercial construction firm in the Mountain West, is seeking a full-time pilot to join their corporate aviation team. This is a career-stable opportunity offering an excellent work-life balance, with most trips scheduled at least one week in advance and minimal short-notice flights.


The successful candidate will operate a Cessna Citation CJ4 in both PIC and SIC roles, flying throughout the Mountain West region. Candidates who are currently type-rated or require a type rating renewal will be given priority consideration.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Operate the Cessna Citation CJ4 in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards
  • Participate in all phases of flight planning and execution
  • Maintain a professional, safety-first culture with exceptional attention to detail
  • Collaborate with in-house flight operations to ensure seamless scheduling and dispatch
  • Represent the company with professionalism in all interactions with executives, staff, and partners


Minimum Qualifications:

  • ATP certificate with AMEL rating
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience in IMC, night operations, and mountainous terrain
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs
  • Citation CJ4 (or CJ family) type rating or eligible for renewal strongly preferred. Non type-rated candidates will receive secondary consideration

Schedule:

  • On-call position with nearly all flights scheduled at least one week in advance
  • Very limited short-notice travel
  • Approx. 200 flight hours per year
  • Flight profile: ~30% same-day trips, ~70% overnight stays
