Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Field Underwriter to join our dynamic team. The Sr Commercial Field Underwriter will analyze and evaluate complex commercial insurance risks and underwrite policies, ensuring profitability and maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate complex commercial insurance risks
• Underwrite policies in accordance with company guidelines and standards
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure accurate and timely underwriting processes
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to make well-informed underwriting decisions
• Analyze and interpret data to make sound underwriting decisions

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
• Proven experience as a Commercial Field Underwriter or similar role
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance policies and underwriting principles
• Ability to work independently and make well-informed decisions
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Relevant certifications or licenses may be required
