Description:

Position Description Summary: Responsible for the direction, management, and control of operations, sales, employees, and budgets at the site.

Principal Accountabilities:

  1. Manage logistics center operations while maintaining customer relationships and fostering positive relations among all associates.
  2. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce operational costs and enhance service levels, capacity, productivity, and quality.
  3. Manage inbound and outbound product movements within the logistics center.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., finance, HR, quality) and external vendors.
  5. Participate in annual budget preparation with full P&L responsibility for the distribution center network.
  6. Hire, develop, and retain high-quality staff to support continuous improvement, succession planning, and business growth.
  7. Drive operational excellence and best practices to improve quality, service, cost, and safety.
  8. Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company guidelines.
  9. Develop, implement, and monitor KPI targets and goals.
  10. Maintain a safe working environment through consistent safety practices and procedures.
  11. Oversee staffing, training, and performance management to meet organizational objectives.
  12. Promote positive employee relations and effective internal communication.

Essential Functions:

The role requires proven leadership, accountability, and reliability. The leader manages all warehouse and distribution center operations within budget, focusing on customer service and cost efficiency. Operational experience is essential.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • College Degree
  • Minimum of 10 years in distribution and fulfillment leadership, with at least 3 years in a top position
  • Strong background in supply chain systems (WMS, Inventory Planning, ERP)
  • Experience in project management and process improvement
  • Proven ability to build and develop supply chain teams and align resources with customer expectations
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and employee relations skills
  • High integrity and reliability, capable of building trust and loyalty
