The AEM Solutions Architect will lead the end-to-end technical design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-scale solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). This role combines strategic oversight with full stack development expertise to modernize web platforms and ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing digital experiences for federal clients.
Develop scalable, secure AEM and cloud architecture strategies aligned with modernization goals.
Lead the design and implementation of cloud-hosted solutions (AWS, Azure) and integrate AEM with third-party systems via RESTful APIs.
Ensure technical solutions meet federal cybersecurity standards (FedRAMP, FISMA, Zero Trust).
Collaborate with stakeholders, UX designers, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver business-aligned solutions.
Support Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, PI planning, retrospectives, and architecture syncs.
Contribute to peer code reviews, development documentation, and DevSecOps best practices.
Conduct technical architecture reviews and risk assessments to ensure alignment with federal enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., FEAF, TOGAF).
Provide guidance and mentorship to developers and engineering teams on AEM implementation standards and technical best practices.
Required:
Minimum 20years of experiencein IT architecture roles and 10+ years in AEM development.
Proficient in Java, OSGi, Sling, JCR, HTL/Sightly, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular).
Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and integration patterns.
Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and Agile methodologies.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred:
AEM 6.5+ certification.
Familiarity with federal enterprise architecture standards (FEAF, TOGAF).
