PURPOSE
To provide leadership and coordination in Title programs.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Align and support high-quality instruction in Title I schools. Provide training and resources for Title I teachers and staff. Expand the framework of Building and District Instructional Coaches through ongoing training and support. Ensure program reporting and monitoring to meet Federal and State compliance standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Oversee Title I teachers, instructional coaches and paraprofessionals;
  • Oversee instructional coaches assigned through Federal Programs;
  • Assist the Director in overseeing program systems and needs;
  • Provide training and support for Title I teachers and instructional coaches;
  • Co-create and monitor SWIP (School Wide Improvement Plans);
  • Coordinate and provide district professional development to improve instruction and increase student achievement;
  • Assist in training content specific instructional and curriculum coaches;
  • Maintain and monitor mentor program for Title I teachers and instructional coaches;
  • Work with building and district administration to improve instruction and increase student achievement;
  • Provide Title schools ongoing support with programming and parent engagement;
  • Monitor and ensure all compliance regulations are met;
  • Serve as a resource to all stakeholders on instructional strategies, instructional coaching and resources;
  • Serve on district committees;
  • Attend conferences and keep current with research and instructional trends;
  • Act as a liaison between the State Department of Education and the district;
  • Act as a liaison between consultants and the district;
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by the Director - Federal Programs & Academic Support.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Valid State Teachers certificate;
  • Master's Degree;
  • A minimum of ten years of teaching experience is preferred;
  • Experience as a teacher and/or an administrator in a Title school;
  • Experience in instructional coaching and mentoring;
  • Experience in developing and providing professional development;
  • Experience in Federal and State Compliance monitoring;
  • Must have a valid Idaho Drivers License and a vehicle to drive and/or they must provide their own transportation for job related activities.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL ABILITIES

  • Job tasks require, with or without reasonable accommodation, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting and grasping.
