GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is the senior front office clinic staff member, serving as the content expert at assigned clinics under the supervision of Operations department leadership. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining a professional environment, delivering exceptional customer service, and providing ongoing staff training and support. The role also involves managing the waiting room atmosphere, keeping patients informed about wait times, and ensuring a comfortable, clean waiting area.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum one year of team leader or manager experience, or demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Experience in a healthcare setting related to the duties, including knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, major insurance carrier regulations, procedures, and benefit plans, along with experience working with computerized billing and medical accounts receivable systems.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with the public and staff, with strong customer service and communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bilingual in English/Spanish.
• Experience working with underserved populations.
• Typing speed of at least 45-50 wpm.
• Certified Coder.
• Medical Assistant (MA) education or experience.
• Basic understanding of accounts receivable and bookkeeping concepts, preferably with computer-based systems.
