JOB SUMMARY
This is a senior management position under the general direction of the Chief Deputy. This position provides the supervision and participation in the work of a staff of technical and administrative professionals engaged in the development and maintenance of the BCPAO's geospatial database. This position also provides the establishment and maintenance protocols for the sharing of BCPAO data across the organization, internally and externally. This is a face-to-face, non-remote position.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the functions of this job, the employee is continuously required to stand, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; frequently required to walk; and the employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, continuously lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises 8-15 non-supervisory employees. Departments supervised by this position include GIS & Cadastral Services. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
LEADERSHIP
Employees in this position organize work around broad organizational goals and processes. They report to the executive team through regular meetings.
