Responsibilities:

1. Perform standard programming tasks using Ruby on Rails.
2. Contribute to functional specifications and participate in code reviews.
3. Write and execute test plans to ensure software quality.
4. Understand the scope of medium features and all product components.
5. Utilize debugging and diagnostic tools in test and simple production environments.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Proficiency in Ruby on Rails.
2. Understanding of software development, deployment, and maintenance philosophies.
3. Knowledge of software development best practices, coding conventions, and design patterns.
4. Ability to design and develop RESTful web APIs.
5. Understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD).
6. Proficient with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
7. Strong understanding of Git and Linux operating systems.

Education + Experience:

Demonstrable experience in Ruby on Rails, regardless of years.
