We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls Engineer responsible for providing technical support, expertise, and leading business process alignment on construction project design, management, schedule, cost control, testing, commissioning, and operational and maintenance programs for facility systems. The role involves representing facility design standard alignment, construction project management, and O&M best practices. You will support the Global Facilities Central Engineering Team, Construction Team, Line Planning Team, and O&M Team in providing critical design standards, supplier quality improvements, operational input, and project support.
Your responsibilities include designing and planning systems and buildings for safe operations and maintenance, developing and reviewing system specifications and standards, providing engineering support for site system improvements, and leading regional efforts to align strategic programs including BCP, Critical specs, and Quality Defense lines. You will review and approve site capacity expansions, make business-driven decisions on reliability projects, and oversee detailed design reviews for new infrastructure installations. Additionally, you will support cost and schedule estimates, supervise consultants, and ensure effective communication with all project stakeholders.
In project management, you will ensure project scope, schedule, and budget adherence, prepare basis of design documents, track system capacities, review design drawings and models, and support global facility initiatives. You will technically lead a multifunctional team, provide on-site support during construction and critical system failures, and drive improvements in utilities quality through variation reduction and standard methodologies. The role also involves assessing and ensuring effective maintenance programs, procedures, and checklists across the network, and communicating with site engineering and O&M teams on performance and status.
This position requires domestic travel.
