Boise Parks and Recreation is hiring for Adaptive Rec Leader's to support and lead programs, camps, and events for individuals with disabilities at community centers and in the community. This role includes assisting with the coordination and delivery of safe, inclusive, and appropriate activities, while working closely with staff and supervisors. This recruitment will fill a weekly Tuesday evening shift (5:45-8:45 pm) and/or a weekly Saturday shift (1-8 pm). Other hours may be available but are not guaranteed. The position requires the use of independent judgment and discretion. It is an at-will role, open to all applicants age 19 and older. Essential Functions Leads groups of adults with disabilities involved with Boise Parks and Recreation's adaptive recreation program on pre-established activities and outings in the community such as bowling, sporting events, movies, dinner, dances, etc. Assists supervisor and staff in coordinating safe, fun and appropriate activities.
