KPMG is a renowned firm providing audit, tax, and advisory services, recognized for fostering a great workplace culture. We are seeking an Associate Director, Cyber Architecture and Engineering to join our Enterprise Security Services organization. This is a remote work opportunity.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and manage GCP security strategy, ensuring alignment with firm goals and addressing evolving threats.
2. Support security operations and incident response, including threat hunting, forensic analysis, and remediation.
3. Oversee GCP and Workbench security tooling integration, automation, and process creation for unified security monitoring.
4. Stay updated on cybersecurity practices, mentor team members, and provide thought leadership in security monitoring and incident response.
5. Drive automation and orchestration to enhance security processes, documenting procedures in playbooks and guides.
6. Build strong relationships with internal teams and vendors to ensure strategy alignment and promote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years in security architecture, with expertise in GCP and security tooling integration.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; certifications like CISSP and Google Cloud Security Engineer preferred.
• Experience leading IT security projects, understanding regulatory requirements such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills; ability to influence in a matrixed environment.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Additional Information

Salary ranges vary by location; for California, the range is $139,000 - $297,000. KPMG offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k), and well-being benefits.
