Our Assistant Buyers oversee the essential functions of sourcing, product development and management of assortments and inventory with the goal of maximizing the growth of Scandinavian Designs and Dania Furniture brands. Position Details. Manage product forecasting for assigned vendors and product categories including and not limited to: Vendor/ SKU level forecasting in Buy Plan Tool. Performs order placement, revisions, and invoicing. Monitors vendor shipping schedules and container bookings to ensuring timely delivery of purchase orders. Responsible for new item opening order projections. Continuously review sales performance for assigned SK - Us/categories to understand trends in the business, developing assortment adds and drops to maximize sales and product positioning.
