The City of Boise is looking for an Industrial Mechanic to keep our wastewater treatment systems running safely and efficiently. This is skilled, hands-on work in an industrial setting youll be maintaining motors, pumps, valves, piping, and other critical mechanical systems that serve the community every day. In this role, youll use everything from wrenches to welding torches to troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, and install equipment. Youll also work with fabrication tools, read blueprints, track maintenance in software systems, and help keep things operating to meet strict safety and environmental standards.
