Your Role

As the Head of Business Intelligence, you will lead the strategy and execution of data-driven decision-making within the Commercial Excellence organization. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and optimization of business intelligence tools and analytics that provide actionable insights to support sales, marketing, and operational functions. Your leadership will drive the integration of data analytics into core business processes, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business intelligence strategy that aligns with commercial and corporate objectives.
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable data analytics tools and dashboards, ensuring high-quality reporting for commercial functions.
  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of sales, financial, and operational data to drive performance improvement.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to understand key business challenges and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Establish and enforce data governance, standardization, and integrity across all commercial data assets.
  • Drive the adoption of predictive analytics and machine learning techniques to enhance forecasting and commercial decision-making.
  • Manage a team of BI Developers, Data Scientists, and Data Analysts, providing strategic direction, mentorship, and professional development.
  • Partner with IT and cross-functional teams to optimize data infrastructure, visualization tools, and analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce).
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting frameworks to track and improve commercial effectiveness.
  • Lead efforts to enhance data literacy and analytical capabilities across the organization through training and enablement programs.

Your Expertise (Required Skills to Have for Success in This Role)

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 10+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or commercial operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute a BI strategy that aligns with business goals.
  • Strong background in data visualization, predictive analytics, and data science techniques.
  • Experience working with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with data management, SQL, cloud-based analytics platforms, and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Expertise in leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor technical teams, including BI developers, data scientists, and analysts.
  • Change management experience in implementing analytics-driven transformation across commercial organizations.

The annual base pay for this position is:

Min $143,500 - Max $215,200

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
