Job Title: Cloud Architect (m/f/d)

G+D Mobile Security GmbH is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect (m/f/d) with deep expertise, primarily in AWS but also Azure cloud platforms, to design, implement, and manage our cloud infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading cloud transformation projects and optimizing cloud solutions for large-scale enterprise environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures on AWS and Azure.
• Lead migration strategies from on-premises to cloud environments, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Optimize cloud spend by implementing cost-control strategies and leveraging cloud-native tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud solutions align with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies regarding security, privacy, and data protection.
• Mentor and guide architects and engineers in cloud best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and integrate them where beneficial.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent.
• Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud strategies.
• Familiarity with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes in the cloud.
• Deep knowledge of AWS and Azure services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Azure VMs, Azure SQL, and Azure Functions.
• Experience with cloud security, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security.
• Proficiency in cloud automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of network architecture, including VPCs, routing, and load balancing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in troubleshooting complex cloud issues.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in a cloud environment.
• Excellent communication skills to work with stakeholders at all levels.
