MicroTech Systems is looking for an IT Support Specialist Level 3 to join our team in Boise, Idaho. This person will perform complex network architecture/design, Windows Server deployments/migrations/decommissions, network infrastructure deployments/migrations/decommissions, client application deployments/migrations, email deployments/migrations, and other related IT support tasks associated with supporting client systems and networks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, solid analytical skills, and proven problem-solving experience. They will use their interpersonal skills to communicate with clients and provide IT support via specified client IT projects.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of an Associate's degree in Applied Science (Computer/Network) (or the equivalent) is preferred.
2. MSP Experience preferred.
3. Six years of related technical support experience, including but not limited to:

• Advanced Network Design/architecture.
• Expertise in infrastructure installation, configuration, troubleshooting, including Internet, Firewall, Switch, and Wi-Fi; VLAN installation/configuration/administration/troubleshooting.
• Expertise in Microsoft server and application migrations.
• Expertise in Hypervisor installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting.
• Expertise in SAN installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting.
• Expertise in O365 migrations, administration, troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Scripting & PowerShell.

Other requirements include being technically savvy with strong time management skills, troubleshooting issues effectively, explaining technical issues to non-technical persons, maintaining professionalism, and fostering superior client relations.
