The Housing Specialist secures and coordinates the furnishing of safe, sanitary, and affordable housing and related logistical and case management support for newly arriving refugees and extended services program participants. Note: This is a limited-term, full-time position ending September 30, 2026, with the possibility for renewal. Major Responsibilities:Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Identify and secure safe, sanitary, and affordable housing for program participants in compliance with established program requirements. Current programs may include but are not limited to Reception & Placement, Preferred Communities Intensive Case Management, and Refugee Social Services Case Management. Conduct ongoing outreach to current and potential landlords and property managers, building strong working relationships with the goal of increasing access to housing for refugee families and to coordinate client home repair requests as needed.
