Job Summary: Micron is seeking a highly motivated Facilities Water Services Maintenance Supervisor to lead and develop a team of technicians responsible for maintaining, calibrating, troubleshooting, and repairing site-wide water systems. These systems include Ultrapure Water (UPW), industrial wastewater treatment, groundwater, and water reclaim operations within the ID1 high-volume manufacturing facility. The role encompasses oversight of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation components across all water treatment systems. Responsibilities: + Maintain current technical knowledge of water systems and infrastructure to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement. + Ensure team members hold necessary certifications and complete required training for safe and effective task execution. + Supervise the completion of preventive maintenance (PM) and work orders, ensuring timeliness and thoroughness. + Confirm that equipment and tools are properly maintained and safe to use. + Support the installation, modification, maintenance, and decommissioning of facilities equipment. + Develop and implement standardized procedures and training programs to promote consistent and safe operations. + Foster accountability for shift and area performance, focusing on safety, quality, and operational metrics. + Monitor system and equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to improve reliability. + Lead efforts to identify and eliminate equipment defects, enhancing uptime and product quality. + Apply structured problem-solving techniques to resolve issues efficiently and sustainably. + Address recurring equipment alarms through root cause analysis and corrective action planning. + Manage improvement projects aimed at boosting equipment performance, reliability, and cost efficiency. + Promote cost-saving initiatives, including energy efficiency and resource optimization. + Champion a culture of safety and quality through adherence to principles and maintenance standards. + Generate reports and analyze data using Microsoft Office tools to support performance tracking and decision-making.
