As a primary contact for customers, the Dairy Supervisor provides friendly, courteous, and helpful service. The Dairy Supervisor places individual items on shelves in specific location and faces merchandise. Opens cases of merchandise using a company approved box cutter. Faces items to be consistent with Division standards. Dusts and washes shelves as needed. Checks temperature in cold cases, and coolers as needed. Maintain all aisles with a clear walkway. Bales cardboard and cleans floor. May occasional function as cashier/checker. May complete orders or maintain inventory with handheld ordering device. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists the Grocery Manager in directing the operation of the Dairy department, including supervising and training personnel. Maintains the quality condition of all dairy grocery products, stocks, rotates and faces products, discards out of code and spoiled products and maintains backroom. Cleans and maintains shelves.
