A Day in the Life: As a primary contact for customers, the Seafood Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful service. Follows division guidelines for the implementation of the merchandising program and COOL compliance. Cuts, weighs, wraps, and packages seafood for sale in the seafood department. Cleans product, cuts, weighs, wraps, packages, and places seafood for sale in display cases. Logs temperature in freezer and cooler. Keeps the department clean, orderly, and maintained in accordance with State and Federal regulations. The position is hourly non-exempt. The Seafood Clerk reports to the Seafood Manager, Meat Manager, Store Director, Assistant Store Director, Person in Charge and Meat Field Meat Operations Specialist.
