The Jr. Staff Hockey Instructor is responsible for instructing and coaching youth and adult hockey classes, as well as assisting with the coaching of house league youth teams. This position provides a high level of customer service to participants, families, and visitors. Open to individuals age 15 and older, this position is designated as At-Will. Idaho Ice. World is Idahos premier indoor family ice skating and entertainment center, offering adult and youth hockey leagues, figure skating programs, Learn-To-Skate and Learn-To-Play Hockey programs, and public skating sessions. Essential Functions Instructs and coaches adult and youth hockey classes and teams, follows plans from the Hockey Department, prepares ice for practice by checking nets and ice for safety hazards, mobilizes on-ice training aids. Answers questions from parents, guardians, and players regarding practice plans; resolves problems or refers to appropriate personnel for answer or resolution.
