Description:

Duties & Responsibilities:Smiles and attends to the needs of parkFollows established guidelines for grooming, uniform, and operating policies and procedures outlined in the General Handbook and Department SOPs and maintain those guidelines throughout the shift.Maintains cleanliness of the First Aid Office and the area in front andProvides basic medical care for staff members and Directs lifeguards or other staff members as necessary during medical incidents.Interacts with Ada County Paramedics and/ or Meridian Fire Department as necessary during incidents on park property.Performs job functions within all policies and procedures as noted in theEnsures proper use of all safety equipment and personal protectiveCommunicates with Operations Manager regarding daily operations in the departmentPerforms other duties as neededPreferred Prerequisites / Qualifications:Personal Attributes:Self motivated, ability to work aloneGreat Customer Service including conflict resolution and the ability to remain calmDetail orientedIntegrity and TrustworthinessPersonable, Fun and FriendlyOptimistic AttitudeTeam Player who is committed to building a team that functions in unison to reach their goalsMust be at least 18 years of age, 21 years of ageMust have experience with a volunteer or transport agency in a 911Skills:Proven entry level guest service abilityExcellent verbal and written communicationDecision Making skillsPhysical Requirements:Must be able to work inside and outside with constant sitting, standing, walking, vision, hearing, and talking and fine motor skills.Must be able to reach forward and above shoulder height, bending, twisting, kneeling, and crouching.Must be able to lift, push, and pull a maximum of 25 pounds and sometimes up to 50 pounds with the aid of other team members.Must be able to climbEnvironmental Factors:The primary work location will include the outdoors and sometimes officeIn these environments the employee will be exposed to dirt and dust, extreme temperatures, noise and vibration, and occasional wetness and humidity.The employee has the potential for exposure to bodily fluids during medical treatment.
