What you will be doing:
The Sr. Manager, Pharmacy/Health Finance & Analytics will direct action on internal and external data sources to drive enhanced data analysis and related services for internal and external ACI Pharmacy/Health partners.
The position will drive an understanding of business dynamics and its impact on performance throughout the organization, proactively identifying key opportunities for analytic support.
This position will lead efforts to create advanced financial analytics and reporting to provide insights and drive performance.
This position will work closely with Pharmacy Operations, Pharmacy Procurement, Product, Health, and Managed Care Operations to integrate analytic-based insights into business plans and strategies, facilitating analytic best-practices within internal and external partners.
Main responsibilities:

- Create and drive analytic best practices.
- Conduct research on new analytic methodologies Identify and drive proactive opportunities for analysis to support the different Pharmacy & Health businesses.
- Manage and execute advanced analytics, predictive analytics, and analysis.
- Conducts profitability analysis of stores/markets/regions on a by-product basis.
- Responds to different customer (division, Pharmacy business units, corporate partners, etc.) inquiries.
- Monitors all data requests to ensure they are in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Prepare/manage ad-hoc report requests for various customers as needed.
- Assists in the development of pharmacy and health growth goals.
- Provide thought leadership, build new analytical capabilities, and optimize analytic and data extraction processes to improve quality and efficiency of deliverables.
- Interpret trends and spot opportunities to improve retail sales and profitability
- Own all phases of project work, including construction of analytical frameworks and templates, partnering with data extraction teams, analyzing, and summarizing results, and writing insights.
- Present complex data in a clear and concise fashion within charts and graphs.
- Manage completion and delivery of multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize work to meet tight deadlines.
- Gain expertise on multiple statistical, analytical, and reporting tools and leverage them to optimize speed and quality of project deliverables.
- Develop partnerships and build relationships with various client groups.
We are looking for candidates who possess the following:Scope: The manager must have the ability to optimize the results of the company by balancing the need for increased sales and margins. The strategies developed must maximize profitability while ensuring that we remain competitively priced to grow/retain market share. The ability to provide timely, accurate analysis of business data and make action recommendations to senior pharmacy/health management is essential for this role.
Number of Associates Supervised: 5-10
Relevant Experience, Education, Certification, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Bachelor's degree required, preferably in finance, accounting, or business analytics; Advanced Degree preferred but not required.
- 5+ years professional FP&A experience. Prior experience in pharmacy retail and working with retail analytics strongly preferred.
- Experience managing and leading a diverse team required.
- Advanced Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, and relational database technology.
- Advanced SQL training a plus.
- Advanced SmartView reporting skills required.
- Excellent analytic skills required.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing, preparing, and administering a budget required.
- Comprehension of third party, Managed Care, and procurement practices a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to present complex data in a clear and concise fashion.
- Must be a self-starter who can work well within various situations (from well-defined to unstructured) and proactively identify business improvement opportunities.
- Well organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a high growth environment and rapidly changing organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Able to synthesize complex analytics for audiences of varied backgrounds.
Physical Environment: - The job is fast paced and very dynamic and demanding in nature.
- Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment.
- May sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer terminal.
- May use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of the normal workday.
- Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties.
- Some travel may be required.

Pay transparency language (if applicable) The salary range is $ 118,100 to $ 165,000 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation Pay (accrued based on hours worked) or Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (such as pensions and or/401(k) eligibility). [If applicable:] Associates in this position are also eligible for a quarterly bonus.
