Selectek has an immediate need to hire a Chemical Engineer to work on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ manufacturing in Boise, ID. You and the other team members will work closely with client owners in a fast-paced, dynamic environment – in this role you would work on the client’s behalf to review designs, specs and drawings – provide feedback and comment. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited universityMinimum 7 years of hands-on experience with chemical facilities engineering, including:Ultrapure waterChemical and gas distributionProcess piping and exhaustPlumbing and waste systemsPumps, tanks, and chemical storage/designAt least 5 years of experience with design project delivery processesDemonstrated ability to collaborate within multi-disciplinary teamsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExceptional organizational and prioritization abilitiesProven leadership experience Preferred:Minimum 2 years of experience working with complex semiconductor manufacturing tools, including installation or cleanroom usageProficiency in AutoCADStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsPassion for innovation, construction, and building systems3 years of field experienceEIT or PE licenseQuick learner with demonstrated initiative to expand technical knowledgeResponsibilities:Act as the Process Chemical Lead and Owner’s RepresentativeServe as the client’s technical representative, reviewing engineering designs, specifications, and construction drawingsCoordinate closely with both client stakeholders and site personnel to support successful project executionDrive timely and thorough review of design and construction documentsProvide clear, actionable feedback and technical guidance to ensure alignment with project goalsContribute to the design and construction of systems that support advanced manufacturing operationsPay Rate: $48.56/hr. - $59.13/hr.
