Interstate Group, LLC dba TrailersPlus is the largest network of trailer dealerships in the country with 85 stores and 4 manufacturing plants. We are a well-established organization that has been in business since 1995 and are looking for someone to join our accounting team to help maintain and grow our company.

This role is an entry into the accounting functions of the company, and may provide opportunity for career growth for the right candidate. The job duties include approximately 65% accounts payable processing, 15% accounts receivable, and 20% financial close and other projects. We are looking for a proactive team player who isn't afraid to jump in and help with any area that needs assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter financial transactions into accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle).
• Maintain accurate general ledger records, particularly for manufacturing operations.
• Process accounts payable, including invoice and purchase order matching, statement reviews and approval requests.
• Support accounts receivable, including bank imports and payment applications.
• Support monthly and annual financial closing procedures, including journal entries, account reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and required documentation.
• Generate financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
• Ensure tax compliance, including sales tax and property tax.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Understanding of accounting principles (GAAP).
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge, or experience, with Google drives, sheets, etc.
• Internship or previous experience in manufacturing finance/accounting.
