Main responsibilities:
Reporting to the Tax Manager, the Tax Accountant provides support for various income tax compliance and accounting for income tax projects. The Tax Accountant works with a variety of individuals internally in different departments.
- Analyze large volumes of data and report findings.
- Prepare various quarterly and annual tax provision schedules.
- Assist in preparation of federal and state income tax returns.
- Research federal and state tax issues.
- Assist in federal and state tax planning and other special projects as they arise.
- Assist in preparation of quarterly estimated tax payment calculations.
We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
- Interest in income tax laws and administration.
- Interest in expanding and developing additional technology skills.
- A willingness to apply new technologies to solve complex tax problems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and interpersonal communication skills.
We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or computer science (or equivalent) required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Primarily Excel & Outlook).
- Interest in learning about tax and tech simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills.
- 0-4 years of tax experience with a large corporate tax department or public accounting a plus but not required.
