Assembly Technician

We are seeking an Assembly Technician to join our team in Caldwell, Idaho, specializing in the assembly of custom fiber optic bundles. This role is vital to creating high-quality products that meet our customers' needs. Responsibilities:

  • Assemble custom fiber optic bundles following standard operating procedures.
  • Inspect and clean products to ensure they are ready for the final stage of processing.
  • Prepare products for various stages of production in collaboration with team members.
  • Maintain a clean work environment to ensure product quality is maintained.
  • Log in and log out products as they move through the production area, documenting any quality concerns and non-compliance with customer criteria.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in assembly and production tasks.
  • Experience with hand tools and assembly lines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and general labor tasks.
  • Soldering skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous assembly experience is advantageous.
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, military, or lab environments.

Work Environment:

Our Assembly Operators work in a clean, well-lit, temperature-controlled area, following SOPs to assemble fiber optics. You will also operate a microscope to inspect product surfaces, ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Caldwell, Idaho.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
