Remote Crane Operator

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Remote Crane Operator for a company based in Woodstock, AL. In this role you will primarily be responsible for safely navigating the controls for the Remote Crane.

Pay is strictly dependent on experience.

Schedule and hours:

• Monday through Friday, 4:00 am to 12:30 pm.
• Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Remote Crane Operator Duties and Responsibilities:

• The operator uses traveling or stationary overhead cranes to handle loads, such as machinery, equipment, and bulk materials. They follow written, verbal, or signal instructions to control the cranes speed and direction.
• Regular safety checks are essential. The operator inspects the crane for defects, ensures proper functioning, and maintains the crane and hoisting mechanism.
• Remote crane operators communicate with team members to coordinate lifts and ensure smooth operations
• Transport materials to designated locations within the facility, maintaining inventory accuracy and organization.
• Always follow safety regulations and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and securing loads properly.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, racks, and other storage areas, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.

Remote Crane Operator Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proven certification for an Overhead Crane Operator,
• Physical Strength and Stamina to lift metal materials.
• Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination to maneuver equipment in tight spaces and navigate busy warehouse environments.
• Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts, including counterbalance, reach, and pallet jack
