As the Strategic Pricing Manager, you will own the strategic direction of our pricing functiontranslating complex data into clear, actionable insights for our most senior leaders (VPs, Presidents) and elevating Finances reputation as a world-class business partner. Youll build and deliver high-impact presentations, influence decision-makers, and forge strong rapport with department heads to drive profitable growth across all channels and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Influence
• Lead the end-to-end pricing strategy, partnering with Sales, Product, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance executives.
• Translate data and analysis into concise executive take-aways and recommendations that sway VP- and President-level decisions.
• Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships across functions to align on business priorities and pricing initiatives.
• High-Impact Communication & Presentation
• Design and deliver polished, data-rich presentations for leadership forums (MBRs, townhalls, strategy reviews).
• Distill complex analyses into clear, compelling narratives and next-step action plans.
• Act as the voice of Pricing in cross-functional meetings, ensuring the teams work drives strategic outcomes.
• Monitor competitor pricing and market movements daily, weekly, and monthly to identify opportunities and threats.
• Develop and maintain robust pricing modelsleveraging historical data, cost inputs, and competitive intelligenceto optimize P&L across SKUs, clients, and channels.
• Establish and own documentation/reporting frameworks to track the financial impact of pricing actions throughout the product lifecycle.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Operations to adjust pricing for changes in product costs, freight expenses, and promotional programs.
• Evaluate and approve promotions, sales events, and margin-impacting initiatives in collaboration with Commercial and Marketing teams.
• Value-Add Initiatives
• Drive continuous improvement in pricing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Lead special projects that enhance Finances value propositionintroducing new analytics, process automation, or strategic frameworks.
• Mentor junior pricing analysts to build analytical rigor and presentation excellence across the team.

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA or Masters preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive, data-driven pricing, commercial finance, or strategic consulting experience.
• Proven track record influencing senior leaders and leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Exceptional presentation skillsadvanced PowerPoint proficiency and an eye for executive-ready visuals.
• Strong analytical toolkit: advanced Excel modeling, SQL (or equivalent), and comfort manipulating large datasets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; natural rapport-builder and collaborative partner.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and deliver timely insights under tight deadlines.
• Deep curiosity to extract meaning and recommend bold action from data, not just report metrics.
