Electrical Engineering Regional Director

Join the EVstudio team as a Lead Electrical Engineer anchored in Boise. This is a high-impact role for a licensed engineer who will take ownership of technical excellence, grow a Boise-based team, and collaborate across disciplines within a dynamic design firm. As the senior MEP professional in the Boise office, you'll shape project delivery, guide junior staff, and collaborate with architecture, civil, and structural teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead MEP design and project management for commercial, residential, municipal, multi-family, and mixed-use projects
  • Serve as the technical lead on MEP systems designs
  • Oversee and review calculations, drawings, and construction documents
  • Mentor and supervise structural EITs and junior engineers
  • Coordinate with architects and other in-house disciplines for integrated project delivery
  • Contribute to QA/QC processes and the development of internal design standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Electrical or Architectural Engineering
  • PE license required (Idaho or ability to obtain quickly)
  • 7+ years of experience in MEP engineering, with a strong design portfolio
  • Proficiency in MEP design software, primarily Revit
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to quality design, team mentorship, and client satisfaction
