Base pay range

$139,360.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Collins is seeking a highly motivated and experienced licensed Professional Engineer to be an Assistant Regional Manager in our Boise, Idaho office. The ideal candidate will assist the regional manager with identifying and developing pursuits, personnel management, and the successful execution of projects. The Assistant Regional Manager requires a high level of ethical and professional conduct in technical and managerial activities. This position reports to the regional manager of the office. Work at this level usually requires extensive progressive experience.

Typical Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to their area of expertise.
• Responsible for assisting in the identifying and cultivating of new businesses and clients.
• Assists in ensuring that external client focus is top priority of the region and those systems, processes, and activities that focus on the client at all levels of the region are implemented.
• Plans, develops, coordinates, and directs a number of projects.
• Serves as the technical specialist.
• Supervises all staff necessary to complete assignments.
• Responsible for proposal preparation, estimating project costs, contract negotiations, project quality, and project profitability.
• Prepares and monitors project budgets.
• Has overall responsibility for the profitability of his/her projects.
• Ensures accurate client billings and monitors outstanding account receivables and collection efforts for his/her projects.
• Serves as project manager or project engineer on complex projects.
• Supervises and monitors client relationship strategies.
• Will be the primary contact for certain clients.
• Prepares workload forecasts for assigned staff.
• Ensures staff receive necessary training in health and safety procedures, emphasizing safety as a priority.
• Responsible for project schedules and timely completion of projects.
• Participates in technical societies and industry events.
• Attends meetings or events outside of normal working hours as needed.
• Publishes engineering papers and articles.
• Knows how to perform duties safely.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Relocation assistance is available.

The estimated base salary ranges from $139,360 to $150,010, plus bonuses and benefits, contingent on relevant experience.
