Pioneer Federal Credit Union is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic individual to join our Mountain Home Administrative team as
Consumer Lending Specialist I.
The Consumer Lending Specialist I is responsible for a range of duties, including, but not limited to, providing branches and team members with loan maintenance and correction support, maintaining insurance and titles, and addressing member inquiries regarding titles, documentation, laws, and regulations. This role also involves reviewing and correcting Credit Union operations output to enhance service quality, member records, and Credit Union data. Furthermore, collaborate on special projects to improve service quality and member records, and identify exceptions, make corrections, and provide recommendations to minimize future exceptions.
Responsibilities Include: - Provide support to branches with loan maintenance and corrections, Insurance, and title functions.
- Answer team member questions related to account maintenance, titles, CPI insurance, documentation, laws, and regulations.
- Review, monitor, and correct core output of Credit Union operations to improve service quality, member records, and Credit Union data.
- Produce exception reports as needed or requested.
- Work on special projects to improve service quality, member records, and Credit Union data.
- Identify exceptions, effect corrections, and make recommendations to reduce exceptions.

- Performs other job related duties as assigned.
QualificationsExperience: Minimum of one year of similar or related experience.
Education: A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills: Work involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.
Other Skills: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team. Must be able to use a computer, type efficiently and ability to use Microsoft Office products.
Physical Requirements: Very light physical effort. Typical of most office jobs. Work in comfortable positions.
Work Environment: Normal light, heat, air, and space in work environment.
